I started making the jalapeno jam in 1980, using my mother’s recipe. I quickly realized other people besides myself loved the jam. For several years I created new recipes, based on the principle that taste was more important than hot. Therefore my hottest products are still tasty but with a nice bite.
We’ve come a long way since then. Joy’s of the Southwest now has a great line of jams, meat sauces, spices and salsa mix.
