Joy’s Stuffed Bell Peppers

  • Stuffed Bell Peppers recipe with Joy's Meat Soak1 lb. ground meat, beef or turkey or combination of both
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup Meat Soak
  • 6 large bell peppers
  • 1-16 oz can tomato sauce
  • 1 grated jack cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste

Cut thin slice off top of bell pepper. Pull out seeds and discard seeds and stem. Cover with water & boil 10 minutes, remove from water & drain. Lightly brown meat & onion, add Meat Soak, tomato sauce, cheese, salt and pepper. Stuff peppers with mixture. Bake at 350 covered for an hour, uncover and bake 15 minutes. Serves 6.
